Illyarrie / Red-capped Gum (Eucalyptus erythrocorys)
These large trees have equally large flowers - a red cap is pushed off the nut by vibrant yellow flowers, which can grow up to 7cm across. Native to Western Australia, they are often found near coastal regions around Geraldton, with flowering occurring in late summer to early autumn.
