While found across Australia, in a variety of colours, many banksia species are found only in Western Australia. They provide essential habitat and food for small and large creatures, including the honey possum, parrots, and honey eaters. When you take the time to look at them up close, you can see the amazing patterns and interwoven elements of the flower.
